The Island of Skomer is off the West coast of Wales. Skomer has a large number of nesting sea birds and is great for Puffins. I spent a day on the Island of Skomer with my family this May half term. There is a little boat that takes 50 people at a time over to Skomer and only a few hundred visitors are allowed on every day, so we got there nice and early. This is my photographic record of our day out. As you can see, not just close to Puffin but  Chough, Short-eared Owl, Guillemot and Manx Shearwater which are attacked and eaten by the many black backed gulls that are present.
